1. Operator and acceptance
These terms govern calorietoken.net and the current CalorieApp where they link to these terms. The operator is ICTHendrikse, Dutch Chamber of Commerce number 73774693. Contact: info@calorietoken.net. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
2. Current service boundary
Current CalorieApp V2 is a non-financial, non-custodial food and nutrition application. Its implemented scope includes food search, nutrition display, and authenticated user-scoped food logging and deletion. Xaman/XUMM is used as external identity context. No wallet custody or financial transaction layer is claimed in V1.
Unless expressly stated in a separately applicable regulated-service agreement, ICTHendrikse does not through current CalorieApp V2 safeguard crypto-assets or private keys; exchange crypto-assets; execute, receive, transmit, or place orders; operate a trading platform; provide crypto-asset transfer services, portfolio management, or investment advice; or offer CAL for sale.
Historical Testnet repositories, roadmaps, wallet/DEX/NFT experiments, and CalorieDB, IPFS, BigchainDB, provenance, payment, or token-reward concepts are historical or research material, not current V1 functionality or a promise of future delivery.
3. MiCA and regulatory status
Nothing on this website or in connected repositories constitutes an AFM licence, MiCA authorisation, approved crypto-asset white paper, prospectus, investment recommendation, or assurance that a token or third-party service is suitable or lawful for every user or jurisdiction.
CalorieToken’s European Union trade-mark registration covers the services specified in its registration in Nice Class 36. Trade-mark registration is not regulatory approval or permission to provide financial or crypto-asset services.
4. Crypto-assets and public-ledger information
Crypto-assets can be volatile and may lose all value. Public XRP Ledger data may be permanent and visible worldwide. Balance, rank, price, chart, rich-list, or market information may be delayed, incomplete, or supplied by third parties. It is informational only and is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. No return, liquidity, listing, adoption, or value is promised.
Never share a private key or seed phrase with us. Users remain responsible for self-hosted wallets and for verifying addresses, assets, counterparties, and transactions outside current CalorieApp V2.
5. Third-party services
Links, widgets, Xaman/XUMM, exchanges, bridges, payment providers, Open Food Facts, hosting providers, blockchain networks, and other third-party services are governed by their own terms, privacy notices, availability, and regulatory status. A link or integration does not mean ICTHendrikse operates, controls, guarantees, or endorses the third party. Users contract directly with the relevant provider where applicable.
6. Accounts and acceptable use
You must be at least 18, provide accurate information where required, protect your account and device, and use the services lawfully. Do not interfere with security, overload systems, impersonate others, introduce malicious code, infringe rights, or use the services for fraud, market manipulation, sanctions evasion, or unlawful financial activity. Access may be restricted to protect users, systems, or legal compliance.
7. Nutrition information
Food and nutrition information may come from Open Food Facts or other external sources and can be incomplete or inaccurate. It is not medical or professional dietary advice. Verify product labels and consult an appropriate professional for health decisions, allergies, or special dietary needs.
8. Intellectual property and trade marks
ICTHendrikse reserves rights only in material it created or lawfully acquired. Third-party software, data, names, and assets retain their own rights and licences. No blanket claim of exclusive copyright is made for historical logo artwork while its chain of title remains under verification.
CalorieToken is a registered European Union trade mark owned by Pieter Hendrikse for the services specified in its registration in Nice Class 36. No trade-mark or logo licence is granted by access to the website or repositories.
9. Availability, warranties, and liability
Services may change, pause, or be withdrawn. Experimental and showcase features are provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. Subject to those rights, ICTHendrikse is not responsible for losses caused by a user’s wallet handling, public blockchain operation, independent third parties, unlawful use, or risks clearly disclosed and outside its reasonable control.
10. Privacy, changes, and applicable law
Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Material changes will be identified and communicated where required. Dutch law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Courts are determined by applicable mandatory jurisdiction rules.
Current integrations and community information
The CAL & Crypto website page contains three separate sections: CAL/XRP routes to external services, a buying and selling guide, and the AllChainBridge/SWFT interface. The current release does not operate its own order-execution engine. The user reviews any external transaction in their own wallet. Xaman signing alone does not establish an exemption from financial-services rules. Provider availability, asset support and eligibility depend on the provider and jurisdiction.
CAL is temporarily unavailable in the displayed SWFT integration. Other supported assets or routes to XRP may be available; check the actual interface, network, recipient, fees, limits and provider terms before proceeding. CalorieApp food search and logging do not require buying CAL.
The optional Testnet guide uses test-only tools. Test assets have no real monetary value and networks can reset. A test account is not a Mainnet account, an investment, a reward entitlement or a promise of participation in a future pilot. Creating one does not bypass CalorieApp authentication or grant access to another account’s records.
The Community Voting Hub is an informational page. No vote, proposal submission or community voting function is active. Historical reward illustrations describe an earlier concept, not an approved pool, allocated reward, claimable entitlement or present commitment. Any future programme needs its own published rules and review.
The Calorie Help guide supplies bounded project information and links. It does not provide personalised legal, investment or medical advice, operate customer support automatically or make commitments for the operator. Documentation and provider information can change; consult the dated source appropriate to your question.
Open Food Facts and the small USDA FoodData Central reference selection have separate source and licensing notices. Their inclusion does not guarantee complete nutrition data or accuracy for a particular product or person. Existing third-party licences and mandatory consumer rights remain in effect.
